Parrots, Pirates & Pours: Disney’s Beak & Barrel Opens Soon
Disney has officially opened reservations for Beak and Barrel, the highly anticipated new dining experience set to make its grand debut this Friday! With its whimsical theming, deliciously creative menu, and that extra sprinkle of Disney storytelling we all love, Beak and Barrel is already shaping up to be the next must try spot for foodies and Disney fans alike. Whether you’re planning your next magical vacation or just dreaming of what’s to come, now’s the perfect time to snag a reservation and be among the first to experience this brand new adventure in dining.
The Beak & Barrel will officially welcome guests to Adventureland at Magic Kingdom on August 29, 2025, and spots are already disappearing quicker than gold from a pirate’s treasure chest. This isn’t your ordinary meal, it’s a lively pirate tavern filled with shipwrecked treasures, cheeky parrots ready to spin a tale, and food and drinks so imaginative they feel like treasures plucked straight from the high seas.
Of course, no pirate adventure would be complete without a feast fit for a crew! At The Beak & Barrel, the menu is bursting with bold flavors and playful bites that feel like treasure unearthed from the seven seas. Adventurous foodies can dive fork first into the Kraken’s Catch, a refreshing salad of tender octopus tossed with bright citrus, olives, peppers, avocado, and a splash of almond pepper foam. For something sharable, set your sights on Island Provisions. a spread of plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, flatbreads, and tropical dips that’s perfect for plundering with your shipmates. And don’t miss the Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes, golden and cheesy with a kick of chili peppers, finished with cotija cheese and a dollop of lime sour cream.
But the real magic? The drinks! For those looking for a sweet sip without the spirits, the Treasure Trove is a true gem! This dazzling drink blends ube (a purple yam known for its dreamy violet color and subtly sweet vanilla like flavor) with bright lemon and creamy coconut. It’s served alongside a vanilla cake plank, a chocolate cannonball, and golden caramel popcorn, making it as playful as it is delicious. Or you can try the Cursed Treasure, a dreamy cookies and cream inspired concoction topped with vanilla foam and a glittering pirate’s gold cookie.
And for those old enough to toast to adventure, the tavern’s cocktails are every bit as daring as the decor. From the shimmering violet Salty Seas mARRRgarita (which will be first on my list), to the spiced Siren’s Whisper, to the fizzy floral Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale, every sip feels like a celebration.
The star of the show? The Plunderer’s Punch, served in a collectible pirate skull mug that’s destined to become Disney’s next must have souvenir.
This swashbuckling 45 minute adventure is designed for pirates of every age, set within a cozy hideaway glowing with low lantern light and buzzing with lively energy, making it the perfect way to end your voyage at The Beak & Barrel.
With its pirate charm, playful storytelling, and menu brimming with treasures of every kind, The Beak & Barrel is set to become the next must visit spot at Walt Disney World. Whether you’re raising a glass with your crew, sharing plates of island inspired bites, or simply soaking up the magic of Adventureland’s newest hideaway, this tavern promises an experience that’s equal parts feast and fantasy. So, hoist your sails, gather your crew, and make those reservations before they vanish into the horizon because this is one Disney adventure you won’t want to miss!
